ECU DP2011

Graphic User Interface:

A Graphic User Interface is provided for communication between a PC and the Reata ECU.  The GUI can be used to:

download, view, edit, upload, save and restore the Engine Configuration.

visually display a number of selected parameters.

perform diagnostic functions on the engine

setup and download the memorised offline logs.

dyno test the engine with a very versatile tool.

ECU hardware:

 Inputs:

18 analogue inputs which can be connected to any sensor..

Of these 18 analogue inputs 12 inputs can be organised as 6 differential input pairs

4 very fast sampled analogue inputs two of which are used for Cam & Crank Position and the other two for knock sensing.

16 Digital inputs which can be used for user interface (such as launch control activation switch) as well as on car sensors (such as wheel speed sensors):

Outputs:

32 power outputs which can be configured according to the application.  These outputs are as follows

8 Ignition Coil Drivers

8 low impedance Injector Drivers

8 low-side, high-side or half-bridge (5 Amps) configurable outputs

3 low-side (5 Amps) outputs

5 high power (10 Amps) low-side outputs

All of these outputs can be configured to function with PWM and can be used to directly control for example:

Fuel Pump

Radiator Fan

Up-Shift Indicator

Down-Shift Indicator

Tachometer

Data logging  : 2MB of battery backed RAM which can log any parameter.  Duration of logs depend on the number of parameters recorded and the sampling rates.
